An Unforgettable Experience with a Twist
During our unexpected stay, I faced a rather alarming situation with a faulty toilet lock. Luckily, I managed to escape with some ingenuity! Despite this hiccup, the hotel staff were attentive and responsive. Future guests should ensure to report any maintenance issues immediately.

staying at the tides inn was fantastic! location was perfect, just a short walk from the sea and train station. our deluxe double room with a sea view had a quirky round window and a cozy sofa for relaxing with tea. the pub downstairs was a proper old school boozer, with good vibes and cash over the bar. made my partner's birthday celebration special!

The sea view in the Deluxe Double Room is enjoyable, offering a glimpse of the waves roaring against the shore. The room is spacious enough for a couple to relax without feeling cramped.
Check-in occurs at a bar, which can be inconvenient if you're lugging heavy bags and the place is buzzing. The shower pressure is quite weak, which can dampen the experience when you're trying to unwind after a long day. I noticed some dampness behind the sofa and marks on the walls that could really use a cleaning. The curtains didn’t fit well, letting in more light than desired in the mornings, and there were signs of peeling paint in the en suite bathroom. My room had a few hairs on the bed, and the overall cleanliness didn’t meet the mark I was hoping for. Water issues might not bother some, but in this case, they added up to a lesser experience than anticipated.

Couple seeking a good time
The location was spot on, just steps away from the seafront and train station, made everything easy! Plus, the locals in the pub were a blast. I still can’t shake that version of Meatloaf. It was something else!
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but with the atmosphere and the service, I’d say it was still acceptable.

Exceptional staff and cozy atmosphere
I stayed for 2 nights in a Double Room with Shared Toilet. The fantastic service from Dee and Dave truly made our stay memorable, as they were incredibly helpful and friendly. The pub downstairs provided a vibrant, community feel with karaoke nights, and the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach. the shared bathroom arrangements might not be for everyone.

The location of The Tides Inn couldn't be better, just a short walk to the beach and nearby train station. The staff were incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. My room had this quirky round window with a lovely view of the sea. The cozy sofa was great for relaxing after a long day. I loved that the pub downstairs had a lively atmosphere, full of jolly locals and even karaoke nights! It contributed to my overall enjoyment of the stay. I did notice the furniture was a bit old and worn, which took away from the overall comfort of the room. parking was a hassle, with the nearest public car park being a five-minute walk away. I wish the shower pressure was better, too. it felt a bit weak at times. a fun and quirky place with a lot of character, but it could use some updates.

It was just a well-suited match for a quick stopover in Weymouth with decent value for money. The check-in at the bar was a bit hectic, but it worked out fine. If you're bringing heavy luggage, consider arriving at a quieter time.

The location was a gem—just a hop from the sea! That pub downstairs? A right cracker! Proper community vibes with karaoke nights that took me straight back! The round window in our room was a quirky treat and perfect for sipping tea. those classic fish and chips from King Edwards down the road were a must-try!
Check-in's a bit of a faff at the bar, especially with bags. If the lights go out, prepare for a trek through the bustling bar to sort it. Bit of grime in the room, like marks on the walls and dodgy shower pressure. Still, it's all part of the quirky charm, innit?
